You Know what this means....

You see those leaves... this means fall is coming... do you know what happens this fall... MY SWEET LIL MEME JOINS US IN THE WORLD!!! :D Yes... the sight of those leaves made me cry my eyes out with excitement! Being pregnant SUCKS but knowing in the end I'll have his sweet little fingers, nose, elbows, toes, knees, eyes, shoulders, tummy, head... I'll have him ALL it makes it all soo worth it. I'm scared out of my mind because I don't know what to expect! I just know sometime within the next 76 days (later rather than sooner ;) he has some time to bake hehe) I will get to hold him! And cuddle him and feed him and change his oil slicks ;) haha baaaahhhh the excitement never ends! haha



This is me and my lil meme. This dress my lovely sister Britnie let me borrow! I don't really fit much and I'm mentally distraught whenever I look at maternity clothes (whether they are adorable or horrendous haha). :( She also blessed me with lots of those too but I'm working to postpone the maternity clothes period AS LONG AS POSSIBLE! As long as I'm comfortable and meme is safe why not right?! I'm REALLY pushing it with the rubber band technique in the jean shorts ;). Thank heavens it's summer and dresses are holding up just nicely!

So, I have recently noticed that when you're pregnant... and finally look pregnant in my case! People feel they are entitled to say to you whatever the they want! Strangers and people who know you. So, I compiled a couple of comments from friends family and a couple of wonderful ladies from my November Mommies board. Just to give you all a heads! Here are a couple things you should NEVER say to a pregnant woman!:

NEVER ASK A PREGNANT WOMAN IF SHE IS KEEPING HER BABY! I had a lady in target confront me and ask me how far along I was then realized I wasn't wearing a wedding ring and asked if I was keeping it?? When I said yes she scolded me on how selfish I was! I sadly didn't yell nor slap her ha. But left so upset! Seriously?! You don't know me lady it's none of your business whether I'm keeping it or not! I was so emotionally distraught I ended up buying a fake ring and wore that one for a while! Then my boss let me borrow one that looks more "Wedding ring"ish. It's a lil too big for now so I'm wearing my sweet sixteen ring til I get swollen. haha I don't wear the ring out of embarrassment because I'm FAR FROM THAT! I just wear it so I can dodge the question and all the other rude comments strangers like to come up with. Lets just say it's for their own sake ;) haha

As an update on how lil meme is doing! This is him...isn't he sweet?? ;) hehe!!! We had a doctors appointment this morning which went VERY well. We got a lot of our questions answered so that was very nice! She did mention that at this point she is starting to worry about my weight gain (well lack thereof :(), then measured him and said he is still growing like he should! But gave me the go to mow down on some Ice Cream! :D I'm soooo ok with that! haha Also, we checked his heartbeat. He got curious with what was poking him and he kicked her machine!! It was SOOO adorable! We are pretty sure we heard a "hi-ya!" Heartbeat is strong and healthy! We also agreed on how I would prefer labor to go. I want to go as long as I can without an epideral and if at all possible have him without it but we are all in agreement that if I turn out to be a big wuss then an epideral it is! No harm no foul! He still doesn't have a name which is ok! I REALLY like Sawyer at the moment! And Marshal! But names keep coming up that I like so I don't have my mind completely set on just one! We will see! Luckily we don't have to have it completely decided on until he is coming! Which will hopefully be another eight weeks at least... holy hanna... eight weeks. umm I should probably go do some studying! There is lots to learn about babies!!! Sleep well you all!!

Ya that's about all I recorded for today. Other than that I weighed myself again today. I usually do it at least five times a week at the same time during the day using the same scale always just so It's more accurate... I lost 1/2 a pound since my last appointment. :( I don't understand!! I have been eating more. We skipped our workouts this weekend AND usually when I don't sleep well I gain weight?! ugh I'm frustrated. See a person who is about average weight should gain between 25-35lbs during pregnancy as a HEALTHY weight gain. 7-8lbs is Baby 7-8lbs is blood and fluid increase 1-3lbs is breast increase 4-8lbs is fat stores 1-2lbs is placenta and 2-5lbs is uterus increase.... I have gained 5! well losing that 1/2 is now 4.5lbs. HE IS DEFINITELY growing... but I'm not sure why I'm not gaining weight?! I asked my OB about it and she said he is healthy and growing and I shouldn't worry but underweight gainers are at risk for preterm labor and small birth babies... I WANT HIM TO BE HEALTHY!!! I don't understand. I eat a lot! WHERE IS IT GOING?! Probably going to have to start eating every hour :(. More healthy fat. *sigh* better hit the coloring books! ooo or! Lately whenever I smell dog food I get obnoxiously hungry! I'm gonna go get me sniff on ;) lol WISH ME LUCK!

Do not judge me nor sympathize me!!!

k... so First off hehe The top picture is me now at 28wks3dys. The bottom one is from the night I found out about him at 18wks. :D Now they say because we discovered him late we don't REALLY know how far along I am so I could be dead on or two weeks off. Again my current due date is Nov. 15th. But in ten weeks that's how much he has grown!!! Atta babe! :D

Mmmm today was not very nice to me. I didn't sleep much last night. He is kinda starting to behave inside me during the night but he has gotten so big ANY position is uncomfortable. Plus he calls for so much water that I'm swelling and DYING of thirst all day and night so I go through at least 3 16oz glasses of water from the time I lay down to the time I wake up. So I'm peeing almost every hour! I tried REALLY hard to go a night without drinking water so I could skip the bathroom but that didn't workout because I got so thirsty I couldn't sleep. Then woke up dehydrated and dizzy. Which is TOTALLY not ok at this stage especially because it can cause preterm labor :/. When I was younger I got hospitalized for dehydration so I have discovered I dehydrate WAY easier than most people...so before I was pregnant I was constantly drinking water...now even though I'm not sure it was possible I drink triple what I use to! haha I would drink til my pee was clear! Now it takes more to make it clear! Crazy! Anyways so tons of water all day and night.

Oh and it's love...

I'm so in love! haha I'm 28 wks today! He is growing ridiculously fast and I can already tell he has soooo much personality! He LOVES loud things! Whenever I'm in a room full of people talking he tries joining the conversation haha he even dances during all the concerts I have taken him to. He likes to eat... typical boy... haha it's routine that he moves 30 minutes after I eat. Sometimes sooner. My last appointment was to check my gluclose tolerance. I haven't gotten my results back so I'm guessing I passed ha. He likes to play with my rib cage too. Not the most comfortable thing at 3am haha I'm sure by the way he is growing he is gonna break one of them! I have learned to block it but it's hard to stay on top of it when I'm sleeping haha.

This video is of him rolling around after I ate. He is enjoying sourdough bread and kiwi. It was taken from my phone so if it's kinda hard to see watch the right side! You'll see some of his Ninja jabs ;).

Now... in the begining I did have pregnancy symptoms but I just kept relating it all to something else. I'd throw up one morning and just think "hmmm that glass of wine REALLY got to me" or "I just chugged that water WAY too fast" I was tired ALL the time! I just thought it was because of all the stress and never having free time to myself. I would sleep through my alarm clock which baffled me! I couldn't be around weird smells for too long. Easy fix though just leave the area. haha I had the craziest mood swings! Which again just related it to the lack of sleep. I cried randomly (not actually out of the ordinary for me but it was more often ;)) And it goes on and on. All in all in about a two month period I took four pee sticks and all came out negatively! So, I finally scheduled an appointment at the dr.s to figure out what was going on! They took a blood test and it was positive!



That video was taken at my last appointment. I was 27wks1day and measuring a week ahead. BIG MAN!!! But yes indeed that's his strong and BEAUTIFUL heartbeat beeeheee!!!

In the begining when I was unaware of his sweet prescence I was constantly working out. I lost about 5lbs in all and then didn't gain any until a week after I found out about him! I kept saying why is my stomach growing!!! My trainer said it was my diet and to make sure I was eating six small healthy meals a day! I thought I was! Except I was more hungry than normal ;) haha. I have as a total only gained 5lbs. My doctor said it was fine though because he is definitely growing at the rate he needs to be. My current cravings are laffy taffy... yum and caramel apples! hahaha I have been having good and bad days. Some days I have tons of energy others I have near to none. Mood swings are still bad haha... My poor boyfriend! haha I try to keep it calm but sometimes I'm not very good at it... he is amazing... mmmhmmm!!! hehe Anyways... me and my lil guy have gotta head to bed.
